WSP is currently initiating a search for a Regional Project Operations Manager for our Northeast Region. This position can be located in any of our Northeast offices. Duties and Responsibilities: Perform monthly project review, project data management and monitoring. Support the analysis of overall W&E project financial status and assess project financial health in compliance with the Project Delivery Handbook. Assist in the preparation of Project Operations reports to W&E Management. Support the W&E Director of Project Operations by providing consultation and reporting as necessary. Report potential issues to the Director of Project Operations that could impact project performance. Assists in developing and providing PM training. Identify projects that are in distress and provide the oversight and guidance necessary to help the PM and their supervisor correct the issues. Develop solutions as necessary to correct unsatisfactory project performance. Coordinate with PAs to ensure proper financial data exchange and reporting. Requirements Minimum Qualifications: BS Degree in Business, Engineering, Planning, or equivalent discipline. Minimum 10 years of progressively responsible experience in professional/technical services delivery and project management. Demonstrable experience managing large-scale technical projects, including knowledge of project financial analysis, team leadership, team dynamics, client relationships, staffing and resource management, quality control/assurance processes, and meeting financial performance expectations. Demonstrable skills in proactive problem solving, coaching, and training. Strong communication and interactive skills, openness, candor, and a helpful demeanor. Ability to travel within the United States. Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies Preferred Qualifications MS degree a plus PMP Certification is a plus Professional licensing or other relevant certifications are a plus WSP USA is the U.S. operating company of one of the world's leading engineering and professional services firms.
