RESPONSIBILITIES Run a field operations team Work in warehouse and assure the operation is profitable and efficient Oversee direct reports and extended team toward specific goals and measures Institute and reinforce positive and productive culture Use and create measurements to gauge turnaround times, execution, effectiveness and efficiencies Assure all services are being executed by creating a culture of mutual accountability through partnership while holding leaders of different disciplines accountable (EFS, Energy, Environmental, etc) Develop strong relationships across all levels of organization Be a strong presence in the market in the industry and professionally Focus on Relationships, Quality, and Growth Responsible for market “EFS” profitability Engage clients as needed Learn and train on how to be the best run field team possible Develop personnel Lead Field Services Managers Train team in multiple areas (safety, BMPs, scheduling, customer service, etc.) Manage all things EFS in the market Promote Alpha internally and allow teammates to share in vision of excellence Be a rallying point for EFS teammates in the area Recruit local talent Other duties as assigned Requirements 3-5 years leadership experience 2-4 years construction experience preferred Strong logistics/efficiencies/process background 2 plus years of experience in overseeing field crews Must be able to run a large team efficiently Comfortable with coordinating materials, equipment, personnel and jobs Bias for action and strong customer service skills Must be able to multi-task and keep an “even keel” demeanor even in chaos Able to understand and assess productivity measures and how to improve Environmental, Stormwater, and/or Energy knowledge is a plus Proficient in safety measures Must have good command of the English language (written and spoken) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
