PricewaterhouseCoopers A career in Finance, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to help PwC in all aspects of our Finance internal function including financial planning and reporting, data analysis, and assisting leadership with overall strategy. You'll focus on recording and analysing financial transactions, paying and receiving invoices, maintaining financial statement ledger accounts, and preparing analysis and reconciliations of bills to detect fraud. Our Internal Tax team provides internal services related to financial services, treasury and taxation. As part of our team, you'll help the team provide a full range of taxation services to PwC related to complex financial reporting, cost management, tax planning, investment management and transaction processing. Responsibilities As a Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Tax provides unparalleled technical knowledge and specialization and industry insights, coupled with the One Firm knowledge that brings everything PwC offers to solve our clients' needs Job Requirements and Preferences : Basic Qualifications : Minimum Degree Required : High School Diploma Minimum Years of Experience : 4 year(s) Preferred Qualifications : Degree Preferred : Bachelor Degree Preferred Knowledge/Skills : Demonstrates extensive knowledge and/or a proven record of success in the following areas: - Leading Zone video meetings on deployment/scheduling, ensuring national asks are complete and each zone is on target to meet their weekly milestones and other goals; - Managing team's Leadership and team expectations relative to key deliverables to Firm Leadership and stakeholders, e.g., priority planning, timelines, etc. coordinating and planning delivery; - Developing executive presentations, orchestrate the input of all content from relevant groups, reviewing delivery of a targeted message with an appropriate ask and developing the subsequent action plan for delivery; - Supporting leadership in building internal capital for the PTPA team by preparing and posting open positions, and being a part of the interview process for potential candidates; - Managing the knowledge sources as the primary Knowledge Manager, reflecting one source and master tracking of all efforts for access and sharing; - Managing the development of required tools and processes in support of knowledge management activities; and, - Managing access control to all Partner data and systems Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas: - Working as an active member of the Leadership team on the activities required to deliver strategic and operational goals; - Developing and managing the strategic plan; - Tracking all related objectives and metrics; - Tracking all metrics and hold zones accountable (for utilization, daily time, OOO calendar, tax return milestones, touchpoints and more); - Supporting the Leader in developing and executing the strategic priorities for the practice; - Developing and providing support for Leader's executive messaging to Firm Leadership and stakeholders; - Directing the planning and overall approach for all team and leadership efforts; - Collaborating with Leadership on agenda and priority planning for Work closely with the PTPA Leader in developing the PTPA annual budget, tracking and managing the budget to ensure financial objectives are met; - Managing weekly deployment of all staff in all zones (senior- director) reviewing workloads and aligning the work to meet milestones and goals; - Working with Leadership on stakeholder and change management initiatives activities; - Liaising between with the zone teams on day-to-day activities for on-time and targeted activities; and, - Preparing weekly status reports from the PTPA Leader Demonstrates success as tax technical business advisor, including developing new relationships, making introductions to sell new services and doing so with a "One Firm" service mindset. Preferred familiarity with a CRM system. Demonstrates knowledge of automation & digitization in a professional services environment including but not limited to:- innovating through new and existing technologies, along with experimenting with digitization solutions; - working with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools to provide insights to clients; - utilizing digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize engagements Knowledge of alternative fee arrangements, including the use of pricing tools, to provide a point of view on pricing strategies.
