Focused on delivering unsurpassed services in support of law enforcement and homeland security, FSA, a rapidly growing joint venture owned by trusted solutions providers SAIC and AECOM, has a vacancy for a Project Manager/Director supporting the US Attorney's Office. A Project Manager/Director performs, but is not limited to the following duties: * Manages execution of the contract for the office * Works under the direction of the United States Attorney. * Develop and execute various strategic communication plans and initiatives alongside the United States Attorney and Community Outreach Specialist in order to advance the work of the agency. Plan and coordinate trips for the United States Attorney to all 25 counties in the Western District of Pennsylvania. * Create briefs for trips to manage schedules, agendas, participant details and remarks for the United States Attorney. * Collaborate with the Public Information Officer and Social Media Coordinator on tasks concerning media coverage, communications of events, media advisories and press releases. Draft written communications such as articles for print media. * Coordinate with local media to arrange for coverage and interviews. * Communicate with community organizations and chambers of conference to organize round table events concerning various topics. * Collaborate with law enforcement to promote agency engagement during county events. * Engage in post-even! outreach with law enforcement, community leaders and local media. * Perform special project planning and execution such as regional conferences as directed by the United States Attorney. * Briefs the Public Affairs Office and the United States Attorney on matters affecting the community and impacting the USAO. * Assists with the development and execution of information strategies designed to facilitate effective relationships with external audiences. Fosters effective program relations between community organizations and the overall law enforcement and crime prevention objectives of the United States Attorney. * Work involves coordinating, facilitating, advising, and participating in the design, development, and operation of the Unites States Attorney. * Maintains communication with program participants, facilitates meetings, and provides operational support to and for the United States Attorney. * This person shall direct the United States Attorney in preparation for presentations to various stakeholders in the District by extensive research on various sources of information including court files, government records, social media outlets, preparing background briefing materials and drafting speeches. * Update and maintain a calendar of projected press releases and media events. * Review and direct the United States Attorney on related community events to be highlighted in media releases. Helps coordinate press conferences, meetings and background materials as appropriate to help prep the United States Attorney. * Coordinate mid construct detailed agendas and involvement in law enforcement operations to prepare the United Stales Attorney for such events. * Coordinate and facilitate the development of strategies and work to implement activities for the United States Attorney, consistent with Department of Justice priorities and programs, following the United States Attorney directive. * Reports directly to the Program Manager A Project Manager/Director must meet the following qualifications: * Four year undergraduate degree or higher * Minimum of 4 years experience in public relations * Attention to detail and the ability to read and follow directions * Good oral and written communications skills * Must possess a demonstrated ability to analyze documents to extract information * Must have at least one year experience as a supervisor * Ability to travel as needed * Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security Access This position requires U.S. Citizenship and a 7 (or 10) year minimum background investigation.
