CVS Health Job Description As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for providing general office support for a variety of clerical activities and tasks on a day-to-day basis to the Transportation Team. Responsibilities of the Administrative Assistant include but not limited to: - Overseeing all administrative tasks including travel arrangements, correspondence distribution and directing telephone calls - Handling incoming and outgoing mail/faxes - Compiling, preparing, and completing meeting materials - Managing departmental purchase orders - Analyzing, summarizing, and developing reports on various monthly performance trends - Providing support for office supplies and managing maintenance for office machines - Entering, tracking, and monitoring expense and capital requisitions within budget Required Qualifications - 3+ years of administrative assistant experience - Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, data entry. - Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels and prepare effective written documents - Ability to read (by sight or Braille) at a moderate rate, prepare memoranda and format, punctuation, spelling and grammar, and communicate in complex sentences, using normal word order with present and past tenses and a good vocabulary. Preferred Qualifications - Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out straight-forward. - Ability to apply common sense understanding in situations where defined procedures do not typically exist. - Ability to apply principles of logic to determine and perform complex responsibilities. - Ability to compute discount, interest, profit and loss, and percentage. - Proven ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality. - Must be self-directed and possess excellent organizational skills. - Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. - Ability to maintain a professional appearance and manner Education - High School Diploma or GED required - Bachelor's degree preferred Business Overview It's a new day in health care.
