The Role We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented, self-motivated Data Analyst to both support and drive continued growth in our digital services. You will join an established team that is a leader in providing asset management and business advisory services across the country and beyond. We are looking for self-starters who can contribute to our success. The Data Analyst will have experience establishing databases and data structures, and working with applications including GIS, Excel, SQL and other data modeling tools to support business decision making. Ideally the individual will have experience in managing large data sets and will be familiar with the quality control requirements associated with transitioning and cleansing data. We are looking for forward thinkers who can help grow our digital services. Individuals with interest or knowledge in data analytics, machine learning, and AI will thrive well in the environment we are creating. It is preferred that the individual has experience in the critical infrastructure sectors – transportation, water and power utilities – but we will consider applicants with experience and knowledge in both commercial, military, manufacturing, facilities and other sectors. Primary Roles and Responsibilities Can work within a multi-disciplinary team to support, and/or lead the delivery of complex consulting projects across sectors – with a particular focus on the infrastructure verticals Independently perform data collection, cleansing/transitioning and analytical processes and produce high quality reports. Understanding of QA/QC measures for data governance and able to support implementation of such measures both internally and with clients. Actively contributes to and able to engage with clients (both internally and externally) Requirements Required Attributes Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, with graduate degree preferred 5+ years’ experience in directly relevant endeavors Proven experience in consulting or a comparable role in an organization where the individual has held a role responsible for managing data, information or the deployment of technologies to manage assets. Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional IQ - A strong team player who can get things done, can provide leadership when needed or be led when required. A good understanding of infrastructure and a working knowledge of how to structure data systems for effective use. A good understanding of technologies used to support data and information management – including GIS, Excel, SQL, Oracle. Preferably an understanding of Enterprise Asset Management Systems – including Maximo, Infor and other systems. Familiarity with national and international practices and standards An ability to share knowledge informally and formally and coach and support more junior consultants. Must have authorization to immediately work in the United States Location The asset management team works nationally and the candidate should be available to travel.
