WSP is currently initiating a search for an IT Disaster Recovery Analyst for our Lancaster, PA office. Responsible for serving as the lead technical contributor in providing support and development of capabilities for IT Disaster Recovery. In addition to day-to-day IT Disaster Recovery work for Business-Critical applications and systems, the Analyst will help lead the technical team’s activities around system design, architecture and implementation of systems and infrastructure to ensure availability of Critical systems and applications in the event of a disaster. The person in this role should anticipate additional I.T. tasks outside of the main role, including the potential to develop into an Information System Security Officer or other I.T. Security-related role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and test a reliable Disaster Recovery plan for the organization including publishing and driving schedule of activities
Ensure existing Master Disaster Recovery Plan and site-specific appendices are kept current and readily available for use in the event of a disaster
Coordinate Disaster Recovery actions for pending as well as occurring disasters
Analyze effectiveness of Disaster Recovery plans after a test or disaster and adjust and make improvements as needed
Report on the status of Disaster Recovery to I.T. Leadership
Ensure all critical applications and systems have a current Disaster Recovery plan
Lead development of Disaster Recovery test plans and Recovery execution documents
Participate in the design of information and operational support systems to ensure Disaster Recovery is accounted for
Perform and Document Business Impact Assessments as needed
Liaise with vendors and other IT personnel regionally and globally for problem resolution related to Disaster Recovery functions and operations.

Must be a U.S. citizen
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline.
At least 7-9 years related experience
Ability to obtain a DoD security clearance, if required, within a period deemed reasonable by the company.
Proven working experience in developing and executing a Disaster Recovery Plan
Solid networking knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP), and experience configuring and managing network switches, routers, and VPN’s.
Proven hands-on experience setting up, configuring, managing and supporting MS Windows servers of various functions
Professional experience showing ability to research, develop plans and procedures, coordinate, schedule projects and prioritize work; demonstrating ability to respond to multiple projects within acceptable time frames, and ability to prepare and maintain accurate reports and records.
Professional experience demonstrating the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of employees and contractors, to prepare reports and to communicate ideas effectively, both orally and in writing.
Ability to proactively self-initiate and continually expand professional development of all necessary skillsets, as well as keep abreast of related emerging technologies that would be used from a wide variety of sources (i.e., self-paced online training, training materials, and some training courses as available).
Knowledge of NIST 800-171 and 800-53 compliance requirements.Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures
Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
