YOUR POSITION WITH TNC The Cash Receipting Operations Specialist provides administrative finance/accounting support for a business unit or department. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The Cash Receipting Operations Specialist provides a variety of routine and non-routine finance and accounting-related tasks for a department or business unit. Duties may include preparation of cash receipts such as verifying the accuracy and coding of journal entry transactions, maintenance of A/R, general ledger and vendor payments, and similar tasks. RESPONSIBILITIES AND SCOPE Prepare daily bank deposit for all incoming checks/cash Setup batches for team/vendors and commit batches Scan and manage all supporting documents received with receipts Research and respond to questions from staff regarding cash receipts Manage and reconcile Petty cash Assist in providing documentation for auditors MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Associate's Degree in Accounting or related field and 2 years' related work experience or equivalent combination. Experience in database management or producing reports, or in the use of automated systems or touch key calculator. Experience working with basic principles in accounting or in analyzing financial figures DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Multi-lingual skills and/or multi-cultural experience appreciated. Strong attention to detail, accuracy in work product. Good oral and written communication skills. Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines.
