Under general supervision, performs repair and maintenance of emergency fire protection and public safety vehicles and equipment. Also performs preventative maintenance, routine maintenance/repairs, and emergency repairs on all City-owned vehicles, including Construction Equipment, Automobiles, Light, Medium, and Heavy-Duty Trucks, Fire Apparatus, Ambulances, Police Pursuit units as well as other Fleet assets. *This position performs duties deemed to be “safety-sensitive" and is therefore subjected to random drug testing under the City’s policies* Essential Job Functions : Performs routine preventative maintenance on the City’s fleet of standard and emergency vehicles and equipment.
