In support of this mission, Marketing is responsible for developing integrated marketing strategies across Wells Fargo's business lines and geographies; leading brand strategy; leveraging deep insights and analytics about consumers and businesses; executing customer messaging across all channels and touchpoints; and building out capabilities that move toward real-time, always-on, personalized and compelling messaging and digital experiences. A member of the Enterprise Marketing Operations & Data Capabilities team, this leader will have primary responsibility for providing strategic guidance and consulting across multiple initiatives and capabilities formed to build and enhance Marketing Data, Analytics, Reporting, and Operations Capabilities. This resource will also serve as an SME to support other Capability teams in adopting and implementing agile projects and programs. The Enterprise Marketing Operations & Data Capabilities team is part of the overall Marketing, Digital and Social Capabilities team, a center of excellence team within the Enterprise Marketing organization. The Enterprise Marketing Operations & Data Capabilities team will collectively create the strategy and vision for the enterprise marketing operations and data capabilities to support the Marketing organization's objectives and goals. From the vision, the leadership team will develop an integrated, prioritized strategic roadmap for Marketing that will deliver capabilities to drive efficiencies, effectiveness, and revenue growth. This role will be a leader on this team. Capabilities are solutions that include process, technology and people to realize the business outcomes. This leader will support large-scale Marketing programs by leveraging relevant experiences to provide strategic leadership support in partnership with a cross-functional stakeholder team, include the Marketing Strategic Capabilities Initiative (MSCI) Executive team, Program leadership, Marketing COEs, Lines of Business, DMI, EIT, the Enterprise Project Management office (EPMO), and, as applicable, supporting software and infrastructure vendors. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Program leads will work in an internal consulting capacity across multiple Capabilities with Capability Leads, Program Managers, and Sponsors to provide support to the following representative tasks: Strategic problem solving for encountered program/project roadblocks, which may include inability to reach consensus on a solution, or people, process or technology readiness concerns or gaps Oversight, education and ongoing coaching around project/program migrations to new or best in class project methodologies, including iterative and agile development Identify opportunities to build new and enhance existing enterprise marketing operational capabilities, which include cross-product platforms that can be common for some or all products Development of Net-New measurement and metric functions, processes or best practices to support Capability and Program Leads to capture revenue gains, efficiency gains, and qualitative measures in a repeatable, dashboard view. Development of best practice value articulation materials, such as user oriented road mapping, and roadshow walk-around decks Perspective of cross-program interdependencies and overlap, and opportunities for ongoing alignment to accelerate value delivery Executive-level Communication and Cross-marketing socialization of Program/Project scope, approach, solution, value drivers, and upcoming asks Facilitate critical strategic meetings to drive the direction and solutioning for Program/Projects Participate in Cross-Program and Project sharing of best practices developed on or during initiative work Specific Accountabilities: Have a hands on role in the day to day of the initiative with their business, technology and vendor peers Acts as a coach to project resources, driving implementation of new methodologies within Capability initiatives, such as new measurement capture, Agile methodologies, and improvement to project workflows Seeks to improve operational excellence through design of new or redesign of existing Capability design process and their ongoing enhancements (eg. Optimization of communication, improvement in value communication, etc.) Manages communications and expectations with key stakeholders, and assists project and program teams with improving and optimizing to meet the needs and expectations of stakeholders Required Qualifications 8+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: marketing, digital marketing, digital platforms (i.e mobile or social media) 3+ years of experience coaching and developing a team Desired Qualifications A BS/BA degree or higher Ability to work in a fast paced deadline driven environment Outstanding problem solving and analytical skills with ability to turn findings into strategic imperatives Knowledge and understanding of project management and implementation in a matrix managed environment 5+ years of Agile experience Other Desired Qualifications Possess strong collaboration skills, project management and organizational skills with proven abilities to negotiate a desirable solution, set and manage priorities, and designate project timelines in Partnership with designated Program and Project Managers Be comfortable in thought leadership across the marketing group and in collaboration with other groups across the company Have experience in Agile Program Methodologies Organizational Awareness - Having and using knowledge of systems, situations, pressures, and culture within the company to identify potential organizational problems and opportunities; perceiving the impact and the implications of decisions on other components of the company as well as the impact on investors, customers, and clients Job Expectations Ability to travel up to 20% of the time Disclaimer All offers for employment with Wells Fargo are contingent upon the candidate having successfully completed a criminal background check.
