RADIANS INC Description: SUMMARY: Through collaboration with Product Development team, the Supply Chain Administrator will develop and maintain a system for logically grouping/categorizing items/item numbers for ease of data analysis and reporting. Additionally, this position will work with Supply Chain team members to establish and maintain process for tracking packaging inventory. Process RTVs for Tennessee and Nevada locations as needed. Support the supply chain team with purchase (import and domestic) administration, customs documentation, purchasing support, inventory transfers, and item set-ups. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 1. Weekly follow-up with vendors for timely bookings and shipments of POs from international origins. 2. Update purchase orders weekly with latest ship and arrival dates. 3. Create POs for Radians WW (UK, CA, other) and any direct ship private label POs. 4. Create transfers between Radians facilities (Canada, NC, MX, Memphis) 5. Confirm all international shipments with In-transit worksheets SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None . EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Bachelors Degree; preferably in Business Administration/Finance; 4-6 years experience in a manufacturing purchasing/supply chain environment LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business reading and/or training materials as well as federal/state regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures as needed. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and/or the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages and proportions to practical situations REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; ability to interpret an instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables; Must be detail oriented and very good with/at problem solving OTHER SKILLS and ABILITIES: Must be PC literate (MS Office) and have strong data entry, organizational and interpersonal skills 1. Able to effectively communicate with international vendors. 2. Interaction with Flexport or other freight forwarder site for tracking shipments. 3. Monitor private label POs and communicate with sales any updates on shipments. 4. Maintain and communicate private label inventories to sales and customers. 5. Create warehouse transfers weekly. 6. Weekly backorder analysis of both finished goods and assembly items to resolve non-stock-out related issues. 7. Monthly reporting of inventory in-transit.
