What do we do?

Azure Summit Technology provides a wide range of multi-channel, software-defined radio solutions for applications including surveillance, communications, radar, direction finding, emitter location, and interference cancellation. What will you do?

Azure Summit Technology is currently seeking an Integration & Test/Networking Engineer. The selected candidate will be part of a dynamic, growing, cross-functional, and geographically distributed team. This position is located at our Fairfax, Virginia, headquarters location with occasional overnight travel to our Melbourne, Florida, office; our contract manufacturing facility in Baltimore, Maryland; and various customer sites as required. Your future team has worked together to produce the following job description:

The selected candidate will be responsible for executing research and development of complex SIGINT, EW, radar, communications, and other RF mission systems. Duties involve aspects of networking and systems engineering, including requirements analysis and specification, implementation and integration, testing, installation. The candidate will also build, test, and deploy hardware components; troubleshoot problems to isolate defects at the unit and system level; implement and deploy solutions; support of the system configuration to include test equipment and hardware components; develop test plans, cases, and procedures; and other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • US citizenship, due to nature of the work and contract requirement
  • Ability to obtain TOP SECRET clearance, due to contract requirement.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent degree
  • 3 years of software or systems integration and testing experience
  • 1 year of experience developing and troubleshooting in LINUX based environments
  • 1 year of experience integrating VPNs, ports, switches, servers, and firewalls

Preferred Qualifications

  • TOP SECRET/SCI clearance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to interact efficiently with peers and customers.
  • Familiarity with commercial or DoD information technology systems.
  • Familiarity developing and troubleshooting in a Dev Sec Ops environment.
  • 3+ years of experience in developing test plans and generating bug reports.
  • 3+ years of experience in network administration or design.
  • Familiarity in system level cyber security and network architecture development.
  • Familiarity analyzing and decomposing system and subsystem level requirements to drive integration and test development.
