Inventory Management Representative

Würth MSM Division, is looking for a professional, and driven Inventory Management Representative (IMR) in the Flowery Branch, GA area.

We pride ourselves on superb service and support to our internal and external customers. We are looking for a unique individual who enjoys working in several capacities in a multitude of work environments. IMR’s maintain customer relations through inventory management with onsite customer service and inside sales support. 

This role will consist of traveling to local customers in the Flowery Branch, GA location.

Expectations of the Role:

• Prepare and deliver product via a company – owned vehicle.  Restock and maintain customer orders for inventory management accounts that include vending machines, customer crib locations and storage lockers.
• Facilitate the resolution of customer concerns regarding inventory levels, product needs and work with the appropriate sales rep to find resolution to customer needs.
• Build customer relationships and work with customers to improve the inventory management locations at the customer’s sites. Give and receive feedback from customers and work with appropriate teams to improve the inventory management solutions.
• Travel is required as needed. Manages all aspects of business travel in adherence to corporate travel and expense guidelines.
• Assist with the branch warehouse duties as assigned. Will need to work in the SCALE and SAP software systems and learn warehouse processes and procedures to assist fulfillment of customer orders.
• Enter sales orders as required and assist customers with their sourcing needs working with various departments.
• Maintain customer’s open orders reports and work to fulfill any outstanding customer inventory needs, including quotes and request for product information.
• Obtain in depth knowledge of solutions offered, cost to serve and overall profitability goals of each solution and customer.  Solution types include VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory), CMI (Customer Managed Inventory), Crib/Bin Management and Vending Machines.

Skills and Experience we like to see:

• High school diploma or equivalent required with 2 years or more relatable experience.
• Preferred experience working in inventory management- filling vending machines or handling crib maintenance.
• Direct customer interaction and problem- solving experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of industrial fasteners and MRO Products.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Professional demeanor and a sense of urgency in resolving customer concerns.
• Intermediate level Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook. Experience with RF scanner and inventory management software, and/or ability to learn new software quickly.
• Detail oriented and strong organizational skills.
• Current clean and valid driver’s license.
