Legacy Treatment Services is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
To change the behavioral health and social service outcomes for people of all ages from surviving to thriving.
Legacy Treatment Services, a 501c3 nonprofit, was created as a merger between The Drenk Center and The Children’s Home in addition to an affiliation with Community Treatment Solutions.
Independently, each organization was an expert and preferred provider in the programs and services they delivered. Each agency was known for innovation, responsiveness to the community it served and willingness to do whatever it took to provide top-tier care.
Together, these organizations formed Legacy Treatment Services, a vibrant agency utilizing cutting-edge technology and evidence-based practice in treatment and clinical care. Legacy is committed and positioned to be responsive and meet the increasingly complex needs of vulnerable children, adults and families. We are dedicated to seeking new innovative solutions that help us provide needed services more efficiently while maintaining stable, sustainable growth.
Our programs provide a complement of services for most ages and needs. This continuum of care provides children, adults and families with consistency in care management and aftercare.
Legacy Treatment Services is proud of the successes of our consumers. We appreciate the fact that our interventions are part of a much larger system that consumers must navigate. As such, Legacy is active in numerous efforts to advocate for our clients on federal, state and local levels. We participate in nationwide initiatives designed to ensure accessibility to care, the development of best practices and benchmarks for evaluating quality.
Legacy Treatment Services’ combined history, commitment to excellence and state-of-the-art practices make the most of our vast community partnerships and intellectual resources with exciting opportunities for innovative programs to benefit more people in need.
Legacy’s services are provided based on the principles of wellness and recovery. They aim to improve consumers’ overall well-being by assisting them in recognizing and acknowledging their needs and strengths while incorporating them into an individualized service plan. We work to help individuals develop skills and utilize support systems to independently manage their symptoms and improve their quality of life.
We define recovery as the process by which people are able to live, work, learn and participate fully in their communities. Recovery involves recognizing and accepting strengths, limitations and losses, and distinguishing the difference between having a disability and becoming the disability.
Legacy’s treatment and support service delivery system is designed to meet the needs of our consumers by providing an array of evidence-based treatments, safe and supportive environments, and competent professionals and peer specialists who create opportunities that foster wellness for consumers and their families. We believe in empowering individuals to discover hope, to recognize that recovery is possible, and to fully engage as a partner in treatment.
