Job Description
THE POSITION
Below is a brief overview of the role, not a full job description.
- Evaluates and reviews the City's transportation network and identifies safety and congestion improvements.
- Responsible for supervising a technical and supervisory staff and daily operations of the City's traffic signal systems, traffic-related plan review, guidance/review of signing and marking operations, traffic design support for City capital projects, and technical evaluation of transportation improvements required by private development projects.
- Oversees budget for and functional activities of Traffic Operations Division.
- Perform other related duties as required.
