Position Description
Crossroads is seeking a Project Manager to support the Range Control Facilities in Okinawa, Japan. The project manager is the single point of contact for the MCIPAC RCF effort. This individual will oversee the entire operation and ensure that delivery of performance requirements are on time and within budget. They will be stationed in Okinawa Japan and manage the Camp Butler location, but also work closely with site leads at Iwakuni, Japan; Camp Fiji, Japan; and Kaneohe Bay, HI. They will work closely with Government officials to ensure stakeholder satisfaction is upheld. This individual will work closely with Lexicon corporate staff to ensure resources are aligned with project goals.
Duties include the Following:
-Supervise the project team supporting the RCF contact
-Develop and deliver monthly reports
-As required, recruit, screen, and interview prospective candidates
-Develop and implement a comprehensive training program that includes both initial and sustainment training.
-Update, maintain, and administer Performance Evaluation Checklists for the following billets: FDO, RFMSS FA, RFMSS Scheduler, RSS, GIS, etc
-Facilitate communication between stakeholders
-Facilitate communication with the Government
-Manage costs of the RCF performance
Experience
-Experience previously as Marine Master Gunner, or military equivalent.
-Previous experience as a Range Facilities Officer.
-Previous experience with management of multiple performance locations.
-Previous experience OCONUS.
-Previous experience with Range Facilities Management to consist of multiple weapon types and ammunitions range
Minimum Qualifications
-Bachelor’s Degree
-Eight years’ experience in management and supervision of projects with multiple personnel
-Eight years’ experience in management of remote personnel
-Eight years’ experience in scheduling and reporting
-Eight years’ experience in cost control and budgeting
-Three years’ program management experience in range control facilities support
