Founded in 2021, the Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy at Purdue (KITDP) aims to secure freedom from techno-authoritarian threats by accelerating the widespread adoption of trusted tech. The Institute is the preeminent global authority of a new category of Tech Diplomacy, integrating tech expertise, Silicon Valley strategies and foreign policy tools to build the Global Tech Trust Network of governments, companies and individuals united around a set of shared trust principles and a common mission to ensure that technology advances freedom. KITDP is a bipartisan initiative under the Purdue Research Foundation (PRF), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit affiliated with Purdue University, with offices in West Lafayette, IN, and Washington, DC.
The Krach Institute for Tech Diplomacy at Purdue is seeking a highly skilled and energetic Manager of Programming and Events. Reporting to the Chief Communications Officer, the Manager will be responsible for planning and executing the Institute’s full suite of high-profile public and private events involving our Advisory Council, Fellows, Global Tech Security Commission, members, partners, donors and other high-level executives and experts in Washington, DC, as well as West Lafayette, IN, Silicon Valley and other locations.
He or she will coordinate virtual, in-person and hybrid events, including webinars, fireside chats, roundtables, salons, the annual Tech Freedom Summit and Awards and more, overseeing all aspects from event ideation to flawless execution. Your experience, attention to detail, and organizational skills will be crucial in delivering exceptional experiences that engage new and current stakeholders to advance the Institute’s mission to ensure technology advances freedom.
