This is a Boston-based position with hybrid working environment; weekly schedule includes a mix of in-office and remote workResponsibilitiesAs an internal advisor consultant, you will:Develop, maintain, and deepen relationships with clients and colleagues Assist clients in investment selection with a consultative sales process Partner with senior salesperson to develop a business plan designed to meet goals and objectivesReach out to clients and prospective clients and respond to questions in a knowledgeable, timely fashionDemonstrate an understanding of clients' business, sales trends and portfolio features Maintain notes on client interactions and effectively prepare for client calls and meetingsResearch and communicate industry changes and trends that may impact company or product positioningRequired QualificationsCollege degreeHigh energyProven ability to build strong relationships1+ years of sales experience or finance experienceExcellent communication and presentation skillsSeries 7 (or SIE and Series 7 top off exam) and 66 (or 63 & 65 combined) or the ability to obtain within a defined period of timeAbout Our CompanyMillions of people around the world rely on Columbia Threadneedle Investments to manage their money.
