Salary: $31.28-$37.00 DOE

**Incumbent eligible for a $500 signing bonus payable after 6 months of continuous**

Position Overview: Strong background experience and knowledge for maintaining and troubleshooting machine and process problems on hot and cold fill Beverage Equipment to include; Fillers, Seamers, Cappers, Depalletizers, Palletizers, Case packers, Refrigeration Equipment, High Pressure Boilers, HTST Pasteurizers, and Automated Liquid Process Systems.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Follow all safety procedures and work as safe as possible at all times.

·         Perform basic metal fabrication using hand tools, lathe and end mill.

·         Repair bearings, belt sprockets, chains and gearboxes.

·         Repair compressed air systems.

·         Repair conveyor controls and devices.

·         Perform conveyor lubrication and inspection, downline and fill room lubrication.

·         Repair and inspect hydraulic powered equipment.

·         Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures when necessary.

·         Conduct oil room storage cleaning and maintenance.

·         Install and repair PVC, copper, stainless and steel pipe systems.

·         Troubleshoot and repair pumps and valves.

·         Ability to weld, ARC and MIG (TIG desirable).

·         Assist Lube Tech and other Maintenance Mechanics in the performance of their duties

·         General

·         Maintain a positive work atmosphere and interaction with customers, co-workers, and management.

·         Regular and punctual attendance.

·         Keep tools and work area clean and sanitary.

·         Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

·         Two or more years of related experience in can or bottle production and/or training -or- equivalent combination of education and experience. 

 

Language Skills: English proficiency required.  Spanish is a plus.
