Job Description
Seeking competent Security Officers to perform the surveillance of our premises and provide protection to our staff and visitors. Qualified candidate will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts, or other criminal activity. The ideal candidate must be well-trained in surveillance and dealing with perpetrators.
Responsibilities
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish presence
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
- Secure all exits, doors, and windows after end of operations
- Check surveillance cameras periodically to identify disruptions or unlawful activities
- Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
- Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
- Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
- Provide assistance to people in need
- Follow site specific protocol before arrival of authorities for emergencies
- Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences

- High School diploma
- Driver’s License valid for MA
- Report writing is necessary (Must speak and write English well)
- Smart Phone that is active and a reliable number and voice mail set up
- Ability to use Smart Phone App
Skills Desired, Willing to Obtain Certifications as Needed:
- Proven experience as security officer or guard is desired but not mandatory
- Excellent surveillance and observation skills
- Tech-savvy with experience in surveillance systems depending on location working
- Training for Narcan, CPR, self-defense and de-escalation tactics as required for individual sites worked
