BlackRock Resources is looking for an OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR for a client in the Allentown, PA area.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead team activities to ensure manufacturing objectives are accomplished in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner according to specification
- Effectively train, develop, coach and appraise team members.
- Develop, monitor and report on operating measures including general business, quality, safety, operator performance, equipment, etc. Ensure effective results.
- Coordinate daily scheduling of the crews.
Develop, coordinate and oversee paperwork flow of the SDC
Job Summary
This position will provide leadership and overall direction to an operations team, (packaging, line maintenance, materials handling and processing) including execution of the production schedule, management of planned and unplanned events, performance management (coaching and development), training, administrative responsibilities, budget management, maintenance support, process control coordination, quality assurance, reliability, sanitation, and positive employee/labor relations as it relates to SDCs. This position will be required to work 12 hour shifts in a 7/24 work environment.
