Ability to work with high voltage electrical in a manufacturing environment.
Understand electrical, mechanical and control systems.
Conduct all installations according to code.
Read, understand and interpret technical drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders or reports.
Assemble, install, test and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus and fixtures using hand tools, power tools and other various electrical reading devices.
Provide power connections to motors and controls, HVAC equipment, lighting and lighting controls.
Mount switchboards, switchgear, panelboards, circuit breakers/fuses, meters, transformers, generators, rectifiers, transfer switch and various other equipment.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, effects and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures, using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety of the system.
Repair electrical issues by replacing or installing components, wiring or devices.
Run, terminate, and hook up temporary power to data lines for testing equipment.
Provide mentor-ship, leadership and training to electrical assembly employees.
Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and OSHA safety requirements.
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Completed Electrical Apprenticeship Program
Must have a valid Oregon Electrical License
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Licensed Electrician
Proficient knowledge of NEC and local codes
HVAC equipment knowledge preferred, but not required
Work very well with little directive and able to carry out assignments by prioritizing issues
