Selection Process: It is important to complete all required application materials. Applications will be reviewed in detail to identify the most qualified candidates to interview.
Successful candidates will be required to undergo a standard Police background investigation including, polygraph exam, psychological evaluation, and complete physical exam with drug screening.
It is desired that the successful candidate begin employment as soon as possible.

Officers are rotated through long and short-term specialty assignments including investigations, boat patrol, bicycle patrol, motorcycle patrol, field training officer, multi-jurisdictional SRT and CNT teams and perishable skills instructors. Officers are assigned to rotational shifts of 3/12 - 4/12.
