SCOPE:
This internship is designed to expose students or new graduates to the Human Resources function within a nationally operating residential real estate company through hands-on experience and training. Assignments will be given across various HR disciplines including recruiting, on-boarding, credentialing and HRIS administration
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Under supervision, independently performing daily transactional tasks;
- Assist with recruiting such as job postings in the organization’s job boards and other online platforms;
- Assist with scheduling interviews, phone screenings and background checks;
- Assisting with recruiting cost and metrics, process and policy analysis;
- General administrative office work, including but not limited to responding to answering the phone, making photocopies;
- Maintains employee information by entering and updating their employment status or making status changes where necessary;
- Assist with new hire orientation;
- Welcomes new employees to the company through the onboarding process;
- Completes special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be a student in good standing at an accredited college or university, currently enrolled in an undergraduate major such as Human Resources, organizational Psychology, or Business Administration
- College GPA of at least 3.0 at the time of application
- Intermediate level proficiency or higher with current Microsoft Office software (including Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint),
- Ability to use the internet to research policy questions and best practices
- Adaptable and able to learn new programs and software quickly

COMPENSATION: $15.00 - $16.00/Hr
