Job Description

The Recruiting Coordinator provides valuable support to the Recruiting Department assisting senior recruiting staff in all stages of the hiring process. The Recruiting Coordinator plays an integral role in the growth and success of our organization. 

 

Under direct supervision, the Recruiting Coordinator performs the following job functions:

  • Assists in the candidate hiring process by collecting all application materials and coordinating candidate interviews
  • Ensures candidate progression in the hiring process via our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Manages candidate interview panels and interview feedback
  • Contributes to a candidate’s positive interview experience through consistent communication
  • Tracks employee referrals and maintains employee referral forms
  • Conducts initial screening of candidates for specified jobs.
  • Coordinates with area employment agencies, universities, and other recruitment sources to help identify qualified candidates
  • Schedules and attends career fairs with appropriate staff to generate qualified applicants
  • Maintains the Recruiting inbox and responds to candidate inquiries
  • Coordinates regular check-in meetings with hiring managers
  • Keeps job postings accurate and up to date
  • Stays up to date with current recruiting trends and best practices
  • Complies with company policies and with applicable laws and regulations
  • Demonstrates professionalism in the workplace
  • Performs other duties as assigned

 

Position-specific Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 0 - 1 years’ relevant experience
  • Self-motivated and a quick and enthusiastic learner
  • Good judgment, flexibility, and the ability to work independently on assigned tasks
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite applications (specifically Excel) and Outlook.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Able to think critically and problem-solve
  • Interest in health and social policy
