Essential Functions
  • Create and strengthen external and internal client relations.
  • Support client talent attraction and development.
  • Support and maintain incoming and current lease and coworking contracts
  • Advocate business development to increase revenue at WestGate Academy.
  • Manage rental activities at WestGate Academy including quoting and invoicing, set-up and customer service. 
  • Manage event planning and operations.
  • Support public relations and marketing of WestGate Academy.
  • Supervise Facilities Manager, contracted IT and administrative support.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Plan and coordinate events to be held within WestGate Academy.
    • Work with vendors and customers to determine facility requirements for WestGate Academy events.
    • Schedule use of conference rooms, training rooms, conference center, and joint use space as required for specific WestGate Academy events.
    • Manage the tear down and set-up of the conference center and training rooms used for special events.
    • Maintain list of approved and preferred caterers and bartenders in the area. 
    • Manage business aspects of rentals, including basic accounting, providing quotes and invoicing customers.  
  • Market WestGate Academy.
    • Support marketing of the conference center to ensure maximum usage and benefit.
    • Support marketing of additional facility offerings.
    • Support the marketing of educational offerings.
  • Assist in public relations efforts relative to WestGate Academy.
    • Support development and maintenance of website content and materials for WestGate Academy.
    • Assist with social media efforts.
    • Represent Purdue@WestGate and WestGate Academy at outreach events.
  • Daily operations 
    • Serve as primary point of contact for customers of WestGate Academy.
    • Lead coordination with the Purdue@WestGate team to ensure quality customer service.
    • Manage building access resources and schedules.
    • Assist in keeping facility and property clean, stocked with supplies and maintained.
    • Support marketing of the cowork and office space to attract new tenants. 
    • Oversee lease management and opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Must be results oriented.
  • Must be flexible and capable of adapting to scheduling changes. Occasional travel required.
  • Ability to manage effectively with contract workers, coordinating schedules and assigning tasks. 

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Human Resources credential/experience preferred.
  • Minimum three years of customer service/client relations required.
  • Event planning experience required.
