POSITION SUMMARY

Support the Sales Department with ongoing inside sales operations to include providing a wide range of customer services to governmental and commercial customers. In this role, the Inside Sales Representative will be responsible to call on current customers and develop new relationships with potential customers to further Envision’s sales and mission. The Inside Sales Representative will also collaborate with and support outside sales staff and business development managers.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE

  • Develop and cultivate relationships with our key strategic partners and agencies.
  • Execute strategic initiatives aligned with the Envision strategic plan.
  • Maintain an ongoing customer contact dialogue and track activities in CRM (Customer Relationship Software).  Envision uses Salesforce.com
  • Work with the Sales Team and other various teams within Envision to prioritize and support sales plans, contracts, and strategic initiatives as needed from time to time.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding efficiently, accurately

and courteously to all customer transactions through inbound calls and email

correspondence.

  • Answer and address customer inquiries by researching, responding, and

     following up in a timely manner.

  •  Become a subject matter expert by maintaining current and comprehensive

         

         

         

          knowledge of products and researching, when appropriate, in order to offer

solutions to customer's inquiries.

  • Obtain customer feedback whenever possible and present ideas to team on

          how to improve existing product and procedures.

  • Prepare and submit Request for Quotes (RFQ's).
  • Drive a sense of urgency within the organization and attend appropriate training programs needed to support the mission of Envision.
  • Flexibility to support other initiatives as needed from time to time to include volunteering to support Envision sponsored events.
  • Flexibility to perform other job duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE

 

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field preferred; however, a combination of education and experience wherein the skills and abilities to perform the responsibilities and functions have been adequately demonstrated is acceptable.

Desired Experience:  

  • 1 year of relevant inside sales, call center, marketing and/or business development experience required.
  • Proven record of accomplishment of positive customer interaction and ability to close over the phone and in person.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct and prioritize daily activities to support the mission.

 

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills as well as strong presentation skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills, including written and oral communication
    abilities.
  • Must possess good organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to
    prioritize multiple tasks.
     
  • Self-motivated as well as able to work independently with periodic
    consultation/direction.
  • Excellent people and self-management skills while interacting with staff, colleagues, and cross-functional teams as well as third parties.
  • Demonstrated ability to use assistive technologies as needed to support normal job functions
  • Ability to:
    • Evaluate business issues and resolve problems, decisive.
    • Develop and write an inside sales plan,
    • Work with individuals throughout Envision in a collaborative way,
    • Demonstrate leadership ability,   
    • Able to work in a highly dynamic, flexible work environment and navigate between strategy and execution.
  • Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time.
