Do you want to be part of a team whose talent and dedication are unmatched in the industry? RES has an immediate need for a Project Administrator based out of our office in Houston, TX.


The Project Administrator will support Project Managers in the administrative management of engineering and consulting contracts for a large-scale project.  Typical duties would include weekly and monthly invoicing, preparing progress reports, tracking budgets, documenting business utilization, following up on accounts receivable, and preparing contract required documents and reports.  Additional duties may include projecting future workloads, tracking progress toward financial goals, and supporting the corporate accounting department.  The work requires attention to detail and accuracy to ensure that contractual obligations are carried out on schedule and meet the client’s requirements.


Typical job duties include:

  • Weekly and monthly invoicing
  • Preparing progress reports
  • Tracking budgets (hours, dollars) as needed for specific projects
  • Documenting SWAM business utilization and preparing quarterly reports
  • Processing vendor and sub-consultant invoices as may be needed for specific projects
  • Reviewing Monthly Billing on projects and preparing invoices for PM approval
  • Preparing contract required documents and reports
  • Maintaining project schedules

Additional duties may include:

  • Projecting future workloads
  • Tracking progress toward financial goals



  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • 2 or more years with experience with accounting software
  • Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Microsoft Excel)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Attention to detail


  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Experience with project scheduling software
  • Experience in ProjectWise
  • Understanding of basic accounting principles
  • Experience in an engineering, construction, or consulting firm
  • Ability to interpret contract administrative requirements and implement billing procedures
