Dobbs Truck Group operates 23 commercial truck dealerships through two operating companies – Dobbs Peterbilt and Western Truck Center. These dealerships represent some of the best commercial truck brands including Peterbilt, Volvo, Mack, Autocar, and Hino and include locations in Arkansas, California, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oregon, Tennessee, and Washington.

I. General Job Description

This position will be responsible for a range of activities in the areas of opportunity development, customer consulting, and preparing customer offers.

· Find, cultivate, and win new clients while also growing existing client accounts.

· Achieve fleet volume sales targets on a commercial level within assigned region.

· Develop B2B sales strategies for assigned territory and execute strategies to meet or exceed monthly sales goals and customer lead targets.

· Maximize assigned region’s growth and potential across all fleet sales channels.

· Create, work, and maintain target list(s) of prospects and partners for assigned segments.

· Delivering exceptional customer service to provide an amazing experience throughout the sales process.

· Support cross-functional teams by providing voice-of-customer feedback on product/service offer requirements based on customer engagements.

· Manage and develop professional relationships with key contacts at strategic accounts to ensure clients/prospects stay warm and are actively engaged.

· Prepare and submit proposals that meet customers’ operational, technical and financial requirements.

· Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

II. Minimum Job Qualifications

· Undergraduate degree in Business, Engineering or related field.

· 5 years in B2B sales or account management.

· Business development experience in heavy commercial vehicles to Fleet customers.

· Financial acumen and ability to communicate with C-Level Fleet executives.

· Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment while balancing multiple priorities.

· Customer-first approach with a relentless passion to provide the best solutions to our customers.

· Ability to influence, partner, and negotiate with senior business leaders to gain commitment to accomplish business goals.

· Knowledge of industry trends and technology developments. 

· Established relationships with Top 100 For Hire, Logistics and Private fleets. 

· Exceptional written and verbal communications skills.

· Ability to travel to support business needs.

III. Desired Job Qualifications

· Graduate degree in Business, Engineering or related field.

IV. Mental Capability Requirements 

· Comprehension: Ability to understand opposing points of view on highly complex issues, negotiate, and integrate different viewpoints.

· Organization: Ability to organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis.

· Reasoning & Decision Making: Ability to make decisions with significant impact on department’s credibility, operations, and services.

· Communication: Ability to compose detailed reports, work-related manuals, publications of limited scope of impact and make presentations.

· Mathematics: Ability to compute, analyze, and interpret complex statistical data and develop forecasts and computer models.
