Job Description

The role of this position is to plan, resource and execute an effective digital product portfolio connecting advertisers and sponsors with an engaged, qualified audience. The Digital Product Specialist fulfills the day-to-day responsibilities of the electronic product portfolio, including digital publications ensuring the continued growth of digital media. This individual looks for improvements in our digital products, digital publications, and electronic database. This job requires a well-rounded digital person familiar with the following products: lead generation, video, streaming, email marketing, digital publications, database management and social media marketing.  This position reports to the VP, Media.

MAJOR FUNCTIONS:

  • Plan, develop, coordinate, and manage lead generation marketing campaigns outlined by advertiser and sponsor agreements. 
  • Provide status reports of lead generation programs and continually push them towards completion.
  • Improves digital publication engagement while continually transferring print subscribers to digital media.
  • Develop video and related streaming services across all media platforms, primarily our YouTube channel, Humans of Manufacturing videos, panels, roundtables. 
  • Create effective platform and delivery method for virtual tours and customer open housed delivered to our audience in an effective manner, maximizing audience participation.
  • Market media content through social media optimization and other digital platforms in a strategic manner to drive increased website traffic and social media engagement.
  • Ensure all appropriate tracking codes and related digital analytics are captured to ensure accurate reporting to customers.
  • Manage risks of launching new lead generation products and features as they enter the market.
  • Leads market research and gains competitor intelligence regarding lead generation products.
  • Works in collaboration with sales team and outside partners to execute digital marketing campaigns including lead generation, email marketing, banner placements, retargeting and social media.
  • Contributes to monitoring and constant improvement of digital processes, as necessary.
  • Identifies and defines clear stages of digital lead generation product development.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and provides leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM EDUCATION, SKILLS, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, engineering, technology, or related
  • Minimum 2 years of digital product management experience
  • Knowledge of website analytics and social media tools, such as Google Analytics  
  • Some related experience in manufacturing, with strong experience in digital products, is preferred.
  • Proficiency in standard word processing programs; print and digital production knowledge desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, organization, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented

  • Able to work in fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.

 WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Regular, in-person attendance required.
