Job SummaryThis senior solutions engineer on the Federal Government team will be responsible for detailed design, implementation and technical coordination of new federal customer implementations across the Comcast service portfolio including, new customer deployments, expansion projects, and internal initiatives. Provides insight to customers on current network solutions and configuration designs. Serve as the technical lead for specific, defined multi-discipline programs or projects of greater than average complexity and scope. Responsible and accountable for the planning, development, and delivery of new technical programs after contract award. Acts as a key contributor for large complex network environment. Determines and pursues course of action necessary to achieve results. Frequently leads teams on specific projects providing broad direction and expertise.Job DescriptionCore Responsibilities:Understands the scope of technical programs as defined by the product and federal customer requirements. Responsible for achieving key technical milestones. Uses knowledge of multiple technical areas to research, plan, communicate and achieve customer program objectives.Leads matrixed teams and serves as network technical liaison with adjacent product and engineering teams to ensure smooth implementation of network services to federal customers.Oversee and recommend changes in operational strategies, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency.Performs needs analyses for the Company and its customers. Develops and documents strategic, cost-effective business and technical solutions.Translates complex technical design requirements into information that customers can understand and respond to.Supports Federal Program Team with product modifications and engineering expertise throughout contract lifecycle.Architects solutions modifications post-contract award based on the ability to translate business requirements directly from customers.Provides timely, technical support and problem resolution for Federal Program questions.Must be a US Citizen.Must be able to hold a Federal Security Clearance.Additional Responsibilities:Oversee and recommend changes in operational strategies, policies, and procedures to improve efficiency.Serves as subject matter expert on one or more business solutions for products that enable customers to stream, track, and monetize their content online.Performs needs analyses for the Company and its customers. Develops and documents strategic, cost-effective business and technical solutions.Translates complex technical design requirements into information that customers can understand and respond to.Architects solutions during presales process based on the ability to translate business requirements directly from customers.Provides timely, technical support and problem resolution for field service questions.Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.Regular, consistent and punctual attendance.
