Established Salt Lake City, Utah Law Firm is searching for an eliteLegal Assistantwith professional composure and superior written, verbal and computer abilities. This position is slated for growth and learning. Assistants who have a passion for litigation and a desire to be recognized as a key component to success will enjoy this position.
The successful individual will have 2+ years current experience with litigation process, preferably specializing in bankruptcy. Ability to meet the demands of working with busy, Attorneys who appreciate the efforts of an Assistant who is a perfectionist and can organize, prioritize and be an integral part of their practice.
The perfect candidate will be one who is admired by others as an exemplary performer and currently possess proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Calendaring, Court Filings and Litigation. They will be resourceful in their ability to research and find answers to questions or know when to ask for assistance in these areas. Experience, abilities and attitude will be rewarded with a competitive compensation package. Responsibilities of the Legal Assistant:
Preparation of notices
Preparation and filing of documents (Federal and State)
Extensive communication with clients via phone, email and client systems
Office Management, Reception-Switchboard, Account Management (Non-Commissioned), Call Center
NO Security Clearance
Qualifications of the Legal Assistant:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to effectively plan and prioritize multiple tasks
Top notch organizational skills and attention to detail
Positive attitude and adaptability
2+ years of legal experience with some litigation experience
