American Military News is one of the most read military and foreign affairs news outlets in the world. Launched in 2015 by Kellen Giuda and headquartered in northern Virginia, our mission is to report on issues related to the U.S. military, global foreign affairs, current events and cultural topics. Our reporting is straightforward and accurate, and our belief in journalistic integrity means that readers will get the facts without interpretation. We believe in the integrity of the news industry and believe that readers should simply “get the news,” as the facts present themselves. To abide by our mission, we aim to report on the people, actions and processes of organizations and governments that wield direct power. We actively research, fact check and analyze news while keeping our philosophy in mind. There are many voices vying for attention in the media today; there are always both critics and supporters of those in power. Our news reporting does not give voice to those making noise for the sake of headlines, nor do we give credence to political fighting, gossip, news-turned-entertainment or the dramatization of news. Our millions of readers appreciate and respect our no-frills approach to relevant news, as evidenced by our thousands of online reviews applauding our ability to stay up-to-date with what is happening in the world and stay focused on concrete events with real implications.
