REQUIRED: Expert knowledge of specific air domain (fighter, ISR, C2, etc.) operations, along with current and future threat capabilities. Operational experience must be recent (within the last 7 years) and performed within a currently-fielded weapons system.

REQUIRED: U.S. Citizenship and a current or recent security clearance

DESIRED:  Advanced Fighter (5th Gen) experience in fighter/bomber system.

Warfighters are critical to the new process that flows from model, to assess, to build to ensure systems are developed and fielded to meet mission needs.  This position places your expertise directly inside the Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) process as an expert in warfighter operations as we develop advanced capabilities for weapons systems research, development, and test. You will use your experience in planning, warfighting (execution) and assessment of mission effectiveness as “the warfighter” to advise and assess on systems and their integration into the future force as they are developed.  Successful candidates will fall under the Concept Development and Warfighter Assessment domain; will participate as a team-member / advisor to all other domains as a SME for their specific system.

Specific tasks: Provide advice and expertise during concept development and insertion into legacy and advanced mission threads and assessment vignettes; provide transition support for advanced warfighting systems. Will require presentation development, reporting and public speaking skills.  Work experience – must have a minimum of 8 years as a combat-coded operator (eg. E-3 AWACS, E-8 JSTARS, F-22, F-35, KC-135, etc.) and experience in their associated mission tasks - Airborne C4ISR, Offensive and Defensive Counter Air, SEAD and/or CAS. This position is also available on a part-time basis.  US Citizen capable of holding a US Government-issued security clearance.”
