We are adding a DevSecOps Engineer to our team supporting the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC). The DMDC serves under the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OUSD) to collate personnel, manpower, training, financial, and other data for the Department of Defense (DoD). This data catalogs the history of personnel in the military and their family for purposes of healthcare, retirement funding, and other administrative needs. As a member of this team, you will work remotely supporting the DMDC DevSecOps toolset. Environment include OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) and AWS. 

We are open to this role working remotely at any location. Current Secret Clearance and Security+ required in order to be considered for the role. 

On a day to day basis you will: 

• Consult with project teams and end-users to identify application requirements
• Address problems of Systems integration, compatibility and multiple platforms
• Build out CI/CD process and leveraging devops tools such as Jenkins, Docker, kubernetes
• Leverage development expertise to streamline our software development life cycle from requirements to monitoring in production
• Incorporate open source tools, automation, and Cloud resources to cut down on tedious, boring tasks and free up the team's developers

Required Experience and Qualifications:

• Current Secret Clearance
• CompTIA Security+
• HS Diploma and 11 relevant years experience; or Bachelors Degree and 7 years experience; or Associates Degree and 9 years experience (At least 1 year must be directly related to DevSecOps)
• Experience supporting Production environment (Tier 3 support)
• Skilled in Unix, Python, and other scripting tools
• Experience with CI/CD process, automation, and devops tools (Jenkins, Docker, kubernetes, etc)
