Data Analyst Seaside, CA Seaside, CA

We are looking to add a Data Analyst to a program supporting the Defense Manpower Data Center (DMDC). This team is providing continuous evaluation and working to expedite and automate the security clearance process. In this role, you will conduct program, project, and operations research to support identity management; assess technology developments to identify emerging technologies that may have program applications.

On a day to day basis you will:

• Apply frequent and systematic due diligence to evaluate and support signature reduction efforts
• Respond and fulfill requests to support and enhance data to facilitate the successful implementation of procedures
• Serve as customer liaison coordinating with contractors, government personnel, and technical experts
• Support ad-hoc operational data emergencies, assessing in real-time for various occurrences of issues and troubleshooting in order to rectify problems and improve data quality
• Research, create, develop, and deliver professional briefings incorporating text and graphics to convey complex concepts to stakeholders
• Visualize and statistically analyze and report on data anomalies and norms
• Brainstorm and support creation of architecture, plan and prioritize different functions and plans of action
• Plan and prioritize agendas, track action items, propose recommended tasks, lead discussions, and coordinate activities
• Generate SQL script templates, unique SQL scripts, JCL templates, and unique JCL jobs
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architects on understanding, troubleshooting, and improving back end subject processor rules
• Document functionality requirements and data processes

Required Qualifications:

Bachelors Degree and 3+ years of relevant Data Analyst experience to include:

• Experience working on medium-size data projects supporting data analysis, data mapping and writing business requirements.
• Understanding of business context and problems with the ability to communicate them clearly in a written and oral format.
• Experience accepted in lieu of degree
• Security+ CE Certification
• Current Secret Clearance
