Come join us and help shape the future!   WSP is currently initiating a search for a Bridge Inspection Assistant Team Leader for our New York City, NY office.   Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Review previous inspection reports and assist in planning of field operations
  • Perform inspection work and compile reports under direction lead inspector
  • Receive directions from Project Manager and other senior staff
  • Technical compliance
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
  • Have at least 1-3 years of bridge experience in design, construction, inspection, or other bridge engineering related work
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Physically capable of performing continuous field work including working at heights and in close quarters, climbing, carrying ladders and gear, working in adverse weather conditions, etc.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver license. Must successfully complete and pass WSP’s Motor Vehicle screening.
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
