Summary This position within the Infrastructure and Data Center Operations team is responsible for taking on a leadership role supporting our global data network, network/security applications, and related projects within the company. Primary responsibilities include building and supporting the infrastructure and tools which monitor our WAN/LAN performance and availability. Responsibilities The ideal candidate will be able to handle various tasks in a fast-paced global team environment. Experience in system monitoring including:
Scripting and automation experience. Python and Ansible experience preferred
Network performance analysis or similar data/system analysis experience. Splunk experience.
Experience working in a team environment with other systems administrators/engineers and in a multi-national team
Possesses strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintain and enhance current network monitoring products and tools
Work with the business to identify and implement network monitoring requirements
Identify and report on metrics within the network. Suggest ways to improve/expand upon the efficiency of operations
Perform and assist internal customers and team members in resolving escalated networking issues
Investigate networks, systems, and applications to identify and correct operational problems
Linux sysadmin experience including experience with DNS, DHCP, IP address management

Qualifications Experience with scripting and system automation
Possess the ability to self-educate
Ability to analyze system or network performance data communicate necessary recommendations and changes
Linux system administration experience
Required Qualifications A bachelor's degree and 7 years of professional work experience (or a master's degree and 5 years of professional work experience, or a PhD degree, or equivalent experience) is required.
