Job Description
Balance Staffing is currently hiring for a few experienced and talented Assembly Technicians to join one of our semiconductor clients in the Phoenix, AZ Metropolitan Area. These Assembly Technicians will perform a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. These individuals will determine and/or follow methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units, and make setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
Job Duties:
- Build mechanical assemblies & sub-assemblies.
- Perform a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies.
- Must be able to read pneumatic and electrical schematics.
- Determine and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units.
- Make setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
- Perform specific back-end semiconductor manufacturing functions in the production of semiconductor devices.
- Operate various equipment in performing functions such as wafer scribe and break, die sort, die attach, lead bonding and seal, test, or mark and pack.
Experience Requirement:
- 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing / cleanroom environment or a combination of education and experience required.
- Experience in helium leak testing, module and sub-assembly testing, and inspection preferred.
