Job Responsibilities
• Design, Develop, test, implement new/enhance existing features/functionalities in enterprise web applications using Java/J2EE
• Analyze complex business requirements, functional specs and writes technical specifications
• Design and deliver on database & Data warehouse applications
• Perform build & implementation, functional, integration and unit/performance testing, test automation
• Performance tuning of the Web application & database query & optimization
• Troubleshoot applications and work directly with various application/ business/support team partners
• Contributes to technical discussion with senior technology leads and architects
• Develop less experienced team members to enhance on their technical and domain capabilities
• Assures quality, security and compliance requirements are met as part of projects delivery
• Level-3 application support

Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • 5+ years of experience working within an application development environment
  • 5+ years of relational database experience
  • 5+ years of Java experience
  • 2+ years of Windows or Linux scripting experience
  • 3+ years of experience with one or a combination of the following: JavaScript, AJAX, XML, HTML, or CSS

  • An industry-standard technology certification
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • SOA (Services Oriented Architecture) experience
  • Spring experience
  • Teradata experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of Apache
  • Knowledge and understanding of Cloud computing, PaaS design principles and micro services and containers
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Strong collaboration and partnering skills
  • Strong technical and quantitative skills
  • Strong root cause analysis skills

Other Desired Qualifications
* Strong knowledge of Java, Spring, Hibernate, JQuery, Angular/ReactJS, HTML, JSON, XML, WebLogic/Tomcat, Web Services
* Hands on working experience in Cloud Technologies (AWS/PCF) and Microservices
* Strong hands on experience in OOAD, Multi-threaded application development, design and implementation of web applications, Data Structures and Design Patterns.
* Working experience using the development ecosystem of applications (JIRA, ALM, GitHub, uDeploy, Jenkins, Artifactory, SVN, etc)
* Good experience in designing and delivering database applications : Oracle/Teradata
* Strong in writing SQL queries, stored procedures, functions and performance tuning.
* Good knowledge on Data warehousing concepts and experience of working on any ETL tool; preferably Ab Initio or Talend or Informatica
