Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:Proactively lead the practise by setting strategy, drive the development of new business in the market, and provide technical advice across disciplinesBuilding strong networks within the firm to spot and capitalise on opportunities to get involved in projects that others are leading across a number of different business units and sectorsIdentifying and discussing key issues with our clients to identify potential opportunitiesResponsibility for a majority of day to day client communicationsResponsibility to shape and deliver various projects that exceed the expectations of our clients and our own assignment quality criteriaManage and deliver large projects by developing the project team, assessing engagement risks throughout, driving conclusions, and reviewing / challenging the output produced by the teamResponsibility for management of engagement financialsHelping to grow and develop our team through hands on training and coachingJob Requirements and Preferences:Basic Qualifications:Minimum Degree Required:Bachelor DegreeMinimum Years of Experience:10 year(s) of relevant experience in the Financial, Healthcare, Federal or Products and Services IndustriesPreferred Qualifications:Degree Preferred:Master DegreeCertification(s) Preferred:CPAPreferred Knowledge/Skills:Demonstrates proven expertise and success with developing for global clients optimization strategies related to financial processing, closing, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and internal/external reporting.Demonstrated proven expertise and success with leading teams and project management engagements in a professional business services environment in at least two of the following focus areas:- Shared service and outsourcing;- Financial transformation;- Performance management;- Financial systems optimization; and,- Talent management.Demonstrates proven expert-level functional knowledge of business intelligence and performance management software tools.Demonstrates proven expert-level abilities and success with identifying, obtaining and processing critical data (e.g. benchmarks) to challenge the status quo through innovative thought leadership and application of industry-specific solutions for high-performing financial functions, including:- Internal and external reporting;- People and organization structures;- Performance management;- Budgeting and forecasting capabilities;- Cash flow optimization and the use of capital; and,- Building and maintaining cost-effective controls.
