Market Job Description
EMEA Controllers group is responsible for all regulatory, external and management reporting requirements in the region. The team provides local support for varied financial service business lines.
This role will be part of a team responsible for all regulatory reporting for our dealer broker based in Paris.

Primary areas of responsibility
  • Review and preparation of the COREP, Surfi and liquidity reporting (LCR and ALMM)
  • Take a lead in the planning, testing and implementation of projects and initiatives, which affect the Regulatory Reporting & wider Finance team.
  • Ensure all ACPR and US regulatory reporting is in accordance with the relevant requirements.
  • Able to assess and recommend approaches for issues
  • Standardizing the documentation for the local regulatory reporting and managing the periodic updates and reviews of those documents.
  • Able to deal with the regulators as necessary
  • Manage a small team
  • Re-engineer legacy manual processes and to be compliant with corporate end user computer tools (EUCT) standards.
  • Assist with daily, monthly & quarterly regulatory reporting required by local regulatory bodies in region (EMEA). These tasks will primarily focus on supervisory reporting.
  • Assist with tasks within daily, monthly & quarterly regulatory reporting required by US regulators.
  • Assisting in the review processes for the above Regulatory Reporting deliverables in order to identify & implement improvements to enhance control and better utilize systems capabilities.
  • Provide leave of absence cover for the production of other deliverables within the department as appropriate in order to satisfy internal control framework requirements.

  • S'assurer que tous les rapports de l'ACPR et de la réglementation américaine sont conformes aux exigences pertinentes.
  • Savoir évaluer et recommander des approches pour remédier aux problèmes.
  • Normaliser la documentation pour les déclarations réglementaires locales et gérer les mises à jour et les examens périodiques de ces documents.
  • Savoir traiter avec les organismes de réglementation au besoin.
  • Gérer une petite équipe.
  • Réorganiser les processus manuels existants et se conformer aux normes des outils informatiques de l'utilisateur final de l'entreprise (EUCT).
  • Aider à la production des déclarations réglementaires quotidiennes, mensuelles et trimestrielles exigées par les organismes de réglementation locaux de la région (EMEA). Ces tâches seront principalement axées sur les déclarations de surveillance.
  • Aider à effectuer les tâches dans le cadre des déclarations réglementaires quotidiennes, mensuelles et trimestrielles exigées par les organismes de réglementation américains.
  • Participer aux processus d'examen des produits livrables susmentionnés en matière de déclarations réglementaires afin de déterminer et de mettre en œuvre des améliorations visant à renforcer le contrôle et à mieux utiliser les capacités des systèmes.
  • Fournir une couverture de congé pour la production d'autres produits livrables au sein du service tel qu'approprié pour satisfaire aux exigences du cadre de contrôle interne.
En plus de ces fonctions, il est attendu des employés qu'ils assument d'autres tâches pouvant être requises dans le cours normal de leur travail.

Market Skills and Certifications
  • Qualified accountant.
  • Strong academic background and degree educated.
  • Banking or financial services industry experience, with emphasis on dealer broker experience.
  • Expensive experience of all relevant regulations, with emphasis on COREP and liquidity reporting
  • System exposure to OnesumX and Lombard Risk
  • Self-motivated and self-starter with the ability to drive results and work independently within a team structure.
  • Regulatory interpretation expertise. Understands French GAAP and appreciation of US GAAP.
  • Ambition for a career as an accounting professional within the financial services industry
  • Excellent Excel skills and comfortable manipulating large quantities of data.
  • Able to manage and drive a small team
  • Honesty and integrity in all aspects of their work.
  • Strong communicator. French and English speaker.
  • Intuitive; Fast leaner with good problem solving skills.
  • Good time management & organisational skills.
  • Travel to London on an ad hoc basis

  • Expert-comptable qualifié.
  • Solide formation académique et diplôme universitaire.
