FactSet's Workday Financials Manager will partner closely with senior leadership across the Finance organization to continue to deliver, manage and implement Workday Financials solutions. This person will have full ownership of Workday Financials and will play a leadership role in designing and recommending the best solutions for the Finance organization and FactSet's overall objectives globally.Responsibilities:Ensure that engineering development for the groups under management are consistently aligned to business priorities and that staffing is optimized accordinglyGuide the technical, organizational & operational evolution of the domain areas under managementEstablish productive relationships & expectation management with stakeholders & peersParticipate in process development, technical strategy and production support responsibilitiesContribute to department-wide operational and technical strategy initiatives, project managing their execution within the group and at times across the broader organization.Technology planning: observe business needs. Identify, advocate, communicate and lead the development of engineering-driven initiatives to meet expected scale, performance and stability objectives for the domain areas under managementStaff planning: coordinate project staffing and execution between senior engineering leaders, peers and product development teamsEnsure that requirements necessary to meet these needs are incorporated into broader development agendaEnsure operational effectiveness and grow capacity for the organization to take on more and different challengesProblem solving: problem solve and work on higher-level design (operational or technological) to ensure that effectiveness of the development agenda under managementEnsure organization, products and technology solutions are operating efficiently to meet business needs and upcoming needsRequired Skills:Minimum of 5 years of Workday Financials experiencePrevious experience implementing Workday Financials inclusive of fit/gap analysis, conversion, integrations, report development, security and FDMWorkday experience includes day to day global troubleshooting and operational support for all Financial Accounting covering, but not limited to P2P, R2R, Banking, Expenses, Supply Chain, RevenueAdvanced experience in creation of Financial Statements, Dashboards and Composite Report generation.Experience managing a Team of Workday Technicians for all aspects of the SDLC.Knowledge of Financial and Accounting best practicesSoftware development fundamentals Foundation for evaluating good design and development practices A skilled communicator, with well-developed verbal, written and presentation abilityStrong organizational and context switching ability.
