Technical Training Assistant

Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain a US government security clearance. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD government-granted security clearance. Individuals will be subject to a background investigation to include but not limited to, criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.
As SSDS East Coast Technical Training Assistant, the primary role is to support the SSDS East Coast Training Lead. Overall focus of this position is to act as technical coordinator, assisting and addressing Fleet, PEO IWS 10, CSCS, CSCSU, CSEA and other SSDS Training stakeholders’ questions and concerns.
The following items encompasses additional major duties and responsibilities:
Provide input to the SSDS Instructor Lead and the East Coast Training Lead and help execute events as recorded in the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
Coordinate East Coast customer engagement with emphasis on addressing Fleet feedback. You will
Support the Team Lead by monitoring Operator, Maintenance OATR and SIM classroom equipment/installation status and class scheduling/instruction.
Provide assistance with RTTV, FITT, and SOPCT efforts to ensure events are accomplished. Provide reviews of Installation Coordination Team (ICT) Meeting deliverables including the Combat System Training Execution Plan (CSTEP) and the associated CSTEP Status presentation.
Review and provide insight / recommendations on training documentation/records to include FEA, Tech Docs and Course Audits.
Be the primary coordinator to arrange key SSDS Training TWG meetings including creation of agendas (as instructed by SSDS East and West Coast Training Leads), ensuring conference rooms/TELECON reservations, and recording of meeting minutes.
Assist SSDS Training Leads in brief preparation and follow-up in closing out action items generated from the TRR.

5 or more years of technical training experience in the Navy
