Maintains the administrative role supporting an established AS9100 certified Quality Management System. This include QMS reports, the corrective action system, supplier activities, QMS procedures, and A9102 First Articles. The position is also the Lead Internal Auditor and coordinates the internal audit system. Excellent Microsoft/computer skills are required.
Responsibilities include reporting and monitoring duties that may not be limited to the following:
AEROSPACE STANDARD: AS9100 - Quality Management Systems - Requirements for Aviation, Space, and Defense Organizations.
Lead auditor experience is required, certification is preferred.
Coordinates the internal audit program and performs internal audits.
Coordinates internal audit corrective actions.
Assists with audits performed by customers, DCMA, and registrars.
Generates the QMS Reports for Management Reviews.
Experience with IAQG-OASIS.
Coordinates with Purchasing the approval status of suppliers.
Processes and tracks supplier corrective actions.
Maintain the supplier quality review information and records.
Provides the supplier quality metrics in the QMS reports.
Monitors status of supplier AS/ISO certifications in IAQG-OASIS.
Review the Corrective Action system periodically to report any activities or actions that are needed.
Coordinates the generation, tracking, and closure of supplier corrective actions based on Supplier MRB Quality Metrics.
Processes Deviation Requests, Problem Statements, SSRs, and Quality Notices.
Revises the QMS procedures based on inputs from Management
Supports AS9102 First Article Inspections by providing certifications and documents.
Provide monthly a report that covers personal activity/progress for the Quality Management System.
Oversees the DMR/MRB activity. Controls the MRB inventory for the identification and segregation of nonconforming material. Coordinates the disposition of nonconforming material with the MRB Teams. Provides the MRB Quality Metrics for the QMS Reviews.
Provides the Receiving Inspection Quality Metrics for the QMS Reviews.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or any level of education or experience that allows for the competence and successful completion of the assigned tasks. Prefer two to five years of experience in an electronics QMS program so that the basic skills requirements are developed prior to working in this position.
Excellent computer skills are needed to perform assigned tasks. The ability to learn and adapt to new software and programs is also a necessity.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations – Lead auditor certification is preferred but not required with a good understanding of AS9100 element auditing.
Experience with the control and disposition of nonconforming material through the MRB process.
Experience in the reporting of Receiving Inspection Quality Metrics.
