Job Description


Summary The candidate will work closely with a Senior Engineer to develop models and tools for electrification system simulation. The models will be geared toward automotive electrification but can also include micro-grids, renewables, and other areas being impacted by electrification. Responsibilities The candidate will develop both system level models and individual component models to assist with electrification simulation requirements. They will focus on creating behavioral models, model reduction, and creating tools to improve the ease of parameterizing components and increase the speed of system simulations. Qualifications MATLAB programming skill
Familiarity with one of the following: power electronics, electric machines, batteries, or power systems
Basic experience in electrical simulation
Required Qualifications Candidates must be pursuing a master's level or a PhD level degree in a technical discipline.
