Our solutions portfolio includes a Standardized Data Feeds ETL pipeline, Data Exploration, Managed Data Services, Content APIs, User configurable Feeds, and the Open:Factset Marketplace ( https://open.factset.com/ )CTS is seeking a senior engineer to join our Standard Data Feeds team to help enhance and expand its core infrastructure, continue to accelerate feed integration processes, and innovate and build Cloud solutions to continue scaling and expanding our capabilities. The team is responsible for core ETL process and internal tools and interacts with our Client Platform, API infrastructure team, and Content teams, all in an overall drive to deliver more connected and delivery-agnostic data to clients.CTS is investing heavily in integrating numerous rich financial content sets and services to clients, creating the need for our infrastructure to scale. This role will put you in the front seat of driving our large scale infrastructure, where you will help solve various challenging problems across terabyte-scale delivery pipelines.ResponsibilitiesPlay a senior role in evolving the CTS core standard data delivery pipelineLead new end-of-day pricing and corporate actions data into Standard Data FeedsTransform our storage and ETL runtimes components to scalable cloud componentsParticipate in workgroups on opensource, serverless and distributed data management initiativesBuild, Accelerate and Centralize feed integration workflows with self-serving componentsCollaborate and participate with Content Teams to build a Data Bridge across content, integrating Standard Data Feeds with Internal Data lakesPlay an instrumental role in the team to continue carrying on Innovation, Cloud, and Shift left initiativesQualificationsBachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or related technical field3+ years software engineering experienceTrack record of success on medium/large scale projects in collaboration with othersExperience with a Cloud environment, preferably with AWS or AzureExperience with scripting languages (python, perl)Relational database experience, preferably with MSSQL or PostgresExperience with ETL production processesA realistic, pragmatic approach, encouraging prototyping and iterative developmentStrong written and verbal communication skillsExperience with front-end web development a plusFactSet is an Equal Opportunity Employer - M/F/Veteran/Disability/Sexual Orientation/Gender IdentityVEVRAA Federal ContractorRequest Priority Protected Veteran & Disabled Referrals for all of our locations within the stateThe EEO is the Law poster is available here.FactSet Research Systems Inc. endeavors to make our website accessible to any and all users.
