We are currently looking for an Associate Field Technician/Field Technician/Sr. Field Technician for our Oaktown, IN office.
In this role, you will be responsible for Pipeline, Field and Compressor Station Operations and will be required to operate the station, reciprocating engines, Aux equipment and Dehy Plant for the Oaktown Area. You will be required to learn all station functions proficiently and operate the Storage Field Assets and Pipeline facilities and may be required to take the lead on jobs and direct the actions of others. You will be expected to participate in the On Call duties of the Area and respond to “call-outs” and shall demonstrate an ongoing proficiency in leadership and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities also include compliance documentation for assigned area and the successful completion of all the Operator Qualification tasks assigned specifically for this position.
This role will be located at our Oaktown, Indiana Storage Field and will operate on a scheduled rotation.
Normal work hours are 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. weekdays; however, this position is subject to occasional call-out and schedule adjustments as necessary.
Your primary area of responsibility will be at our Oaktown Compressor Station and the successful candidate will be required to reside within 30 miles of this facility.
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
*Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of personnel
*Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills and a strong ability for prioritizing and scheduling multiple projects
*Experience with Microsoft programs as well as the ability to read, comprehend, and follow Company procedures and manufacturers guidelines
*Physical requirements include the ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. for a minimum of 50 feet in order to transfer tools and equipment, the ability to operate valve control wheels with a minimum of 50 turns and the ability to work alone as required in extreme weather conditions including hot, cold, muddy and wet environments
*Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record and the ability to operate an all-terrain vehicle
*Strong commitment to personal and team safety
*High school diploma or equivalent

*Gas pipeline experience
