Watermark Risk Management International has an exciting opportunity for a talented Criminal Justice Records Administrator to join our team.
Position Description:
The Records Admin will support the US Air Force (USAF) Security Forces (SF) Criminal Justice Indexing Cell. The nature of this work is to provide support to request, receive, inventory, match demographic information, and prepare data for entry into Federal and DoD databases. Additionally, the program provides records management, data entry, and other related administrative functions to support military or civilian personnel assigned to future USAF centralized indexing efforts, teams, cells, or task forces.
In this role you will….
- Analyzing criminal justice records, making judgements on information contained in records for proper classification of offenses entered into the appropriate Federal and DoD criminal justice databases.
- Administratively managing data into prescribed formats required by external databases, scanning and processing, documenting and tracking criminal subject/case information in preparation for entry into the appropriate Federal and DoD criminal justice database system.
- Utilizing multiple governmental criminal justice databases and other sources to manage, analyze, request and receive information as required to ensure correct information is obtained as requested.
- Processing subject fingerprint cards from military liaison, ascertaining if further data is required to complete fingerprint card, and utilizing multiple governmental criminal justice databases and other sources to manage, analyze, request and receive information missing data.
- Analyzing and inventorying all related materials and case related documents in a prescribed order or file system.
- Providing information, records management and other related data reporting and administrative functions to support military or civilian personnel assigned to USAF or SF centralized indexing efforts, teams, cells, or task forces.
Experience Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in police/criminal justice services or police administration/records management and data entry projects
- Acute attention to detail, and a working knowledge of proven quality management best practices
- Administration experience and analysis capability
- Proficiency in MS Office products
- Understands and meets deadlines and time sensitive issues in a fast paced environment.
- Ability to manage stress with a high degree of maturity/professionalism
- Able to change direction as needed and perform with unanticipated interruptions or pressures
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a preference for concentration in a management discipline such as Police Administration, Criminal Justice, or Business Administration.
Security Clearance Requirements:
- Active DOD Secret security clearance
Other Requirements:
- DOD Top Secret (TS) Clearance, desired
- Prior Military or Civilian Law Enforcement experience
- Prior Military Personnel experience
- Knowledge of DoD Personnel Security, Information Security requirements
- Prior experience with DoD/USAF Military personnel databases
- Prior experience with DoD/Military and Civilian Law enforcement databases
