Come join us and help shape the future!   WSP is currently initiating a search for a CEI Bridge Inspector with relevant industry certification and exprience to joing our Florida Construction Services Group based in Miami, Florida.   Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Reading and interpreting drawings and specifications
  • Monitoring on-site construction activities
  • Inspecting materials in accordance with client’s scope of services (plans, specifications, and special provisions) 
  • Maintaining detailed accurate records of daily operations and significant events
  • Preparing inspection reports
  • Possibly participating in the development of job safety practices
  • Observing general job safety practices
  • Supervising the work of other inspectors 
  • Monitoring and inspecting the Work Zone Traffic Control (in accordance with the client’s requirements)
  • Fulfilling other duties as needed

  • Bridge Inspection Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant construction inspection experience 
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures  
  • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies
Certifications (must have or achieve within 3 months): 
  • CTQP Concrete Field Inspector Level I (level II required if bridges)
  • CTQP Final Estimates Level I
  • FDOT Advanced MOT
  • Post Tensioning Technician Level I
  • ASBI Grouting
  • ASBI Flexible Filler
  Preferred Qualifications:
  • CTQP Asphalt Roadway Level I & II  
  • CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection Level I & II  
  • CTQP Pile Driving Inspection   
  • CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection (required for inspection of all drilled shafts including miscellaneous structures such as sign structures, lighting structures, and traffic signal structures)  
  • IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector Level I
